ACCOUNTANT III

We are looking for an accountant to join our multi-disciplinary finance team. The position will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel to handle day-to-day bookkeeping to accurately handle the reconciliation of financial accounts, including internal auditing of quarterly, monthly or yearly financial accounts. Duties include but not limited to the financial preparation and analysis of financial accounts and reporting of transactional variances and/or inaccuracies, including corrective action with respect to financial and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare/Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of financial accounts, completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports

  • Analyze/Report financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis

  • Plan/Engage with internal/external stakeholders (investors, investments, partners, etc.) above

  • Recommend/Improve financial systems and procedures with internal stakeholders

  • Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations with internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Degree in finance (or related field preferred)

  • 2+ years of accounting experience

  • Expertise with mainstream financial applications, reporting systems

  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases

  • Excellent in client-facing sales, reporting engagements

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, management and communication skills

  • Experience in fund environment/management a plus

  • Experience in audit and international accounting a plus

  • Experience with SaaS environments a plus

  • Knowledge of US GAAP a plus

  • CPA certification a plus

  • Travel required

Compensation

  • Full-Time or Part-Time

  • Reports to CFO/Accounting Firm
